How it works

From preset to submitted worksheet.

Real Door Ops screens from a sample door company. Included on every plan; the custom form builder is on Core.

  1. Step 1: Choose a ready-made sheet

Start from a Door Ops sheet for roller shutters, sectional, automatic and fire doors, gates or barriers, or build your own. Copy the engineer link once.

    • Service sheets and call-out worksheets ready to use
    • One permanent link for your whole team

  2. Step 2: Engineers open it on their phone

Your engineers sign in and pick the sheet for the job. It runs in the phone’s browser, so there is nothing to install.

    • Subcontractors you approve get a free account
    • Anyone outside your team sees a request-access page, not your forms

  3. Step 3: Tick through the checks

Pass, Fail or N/A on every check, with the required ones marked. A fail asks the engineer why.

    • Answers save on the phone as they go
    • Questions only appear when they apply to the door

  4. Step 4: Sign it and add the photos

The customer signs on the screen. Photos come straight from the camera and upload as the signal allows.

    • Each photo shows as saved once it is safely uploaded
    • Set how many photos each sheet needs
A signature on the phone and three photos saved online
  5. Step 5: It lands in the office

The finished sheet arrives in Submissions with the door, site, customer and engineer already on it, ready to review.

    • Marked awaiting review until someone checks it
    • Search by door, customer, form or engineer
Submissions register listing returned sheets awaiting review, with door, customer and engineer

Common questions

Do engineers need a Door Ops account?

They sign in once. Your engineers use their own Door Ops login, and subcontractors you approve get a free account. Anyone outside your team sees a request-access page instead of your forms.

Does it work without signal?

Door Ops saves worksheet answers and signatures on the phone as the engineer works. Photos upload as signal allows, and the engineer can return to the same saved worksheet after a connection drop.

How are forms linked to customers or sites?

The office assigns the customer and site after submission. Door Ops then applies that customer’s branding to the PDF.
